1 / 3Alamo Square Playground
π Alamo Square, CA
Playground within Alamo Square Park, San Francisco, directly across from the famous Victorian 'Painted Ladies' row houses. Clean, accessible, with nearby restrooms and panoramic city views.
This is the best park to see the painted ladies right across the street. Alamo square park, the best place for a picnic. A lunch A walk around the park. Great photos of the city in the background. The same pictures they took off a Full House. The TV show really cool place. Nice little parking area next to the park sometimes is crowded, so you might need to go around a couple times nice neighborhood. The people all were nice. This is a great part of the city. You must go when you are in San Francisco.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families who want a practical playground alongside a genuine SF landmark experience. The open lawn suits all ages for a picnic or free play. Stroller-friendly paths make it accessible for families with infants. Works especially well as part of a wider Alamo Square neighborhood walk.

Overview
Alamo Square Park's playground sits inside one of San Francisco's most photographed green spaces. The Painted Ladies Victorian houses line the view directly across Steiner Street β the same backdrop made famous by Full House. Beyond the play structure, the park offers open lawn for picnics, wide paths for strollers, and a restroom nearby. The combination of a usable playground and a landmark setting makes it one of the more photographed family stops in the city.
