1 / 3Albion Riverside Park
đ Lincoln Heights, CA
A completely rebuilt community park on North Albion Street in Los Angeles featuring children's playgrounds, basketball courts, soccer pitches, a baseball field, outdoor exercise equipment, updated restrooms, and water fountains.
Great park because of the community getting involved with its design. The original park was in bad repair, and several kids were injured due to heat exhaustion and lack of water fountains. A group of community members spoke up and had the city get this done. The councilman worked with the state senator, and ultimately, the money was found to rebuild and expand the park completely. The community came out to tell the engineers what we wanted. We got a new redisigned baseball field for our kids, two new soccer fields, paved walking paths, new play structures, exercise equipment for our seniors, addition of new restrooms in the park and rebuilding the restrooms in the gym. The complete repair of the gym, replacement AC, and a new basketball floor. Our kids finally have a place they deserve, a great park for them to know that their community and city care about them. If anyone wants more info on how we got this park rebuilt, please reach out, I was there for the entire process. Enjoy Albion riverside Park.
đ Family Action Verdict
Families with children across a wide age range will find enough variety to keep everyone active in a single visit â toddler play areas, teen sports courts, and adult fitness equipment occupy separate zones. The full renovation means facilities are in strong condition with working water fountains and clean restrooms throughout.
