1 / 3AMC Puente Hills 20
📍 City of Industry, CA
AMC Puente Hills 20 delivers one of Southern California's strongest IMAX experiences with automated reclining seats, premium sound, and large-format visuals. Outside food is not permitted.
This location has, what is in my opinion, one of the best IMAX experiences in SoCal. It is a bit of a drive for me (I live in Pasadena), but a friend of mine got us advance screening tickets (2 days before general release) for this movie, so I went to check it out. The sound is immaculate. The visuals are stunning. The customer service is nice, concession stand included (there is even a mini bar if that's your thing). Great location if you're looking for an excellent IMAX screen.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families making a deliberate trip for a premium IMAX blockbuster experience. The automated recliners and sound quality make it genuinely worth the premium over standard theaters. Outside food policy is strict — budget for concessions or eat before arriving.

“I feel it’s very stuffy inside, with poor air quality. Additionally, food is not allowed to be brought in. I brought popcorn with me, but they wouldn’t let me take it in; if I wanted to eat it, I’d have to queue up to buy it. There’s also the issue of having to watch advertisements for half an hour; otherwise, everything else is fine.”

“I had an absolutely wonderful experience at AMC! From the moment we sat down, it felt like stepping into a premium home-theater experience. The seats are incredibly spacious, soft, and supportive—truly as comfortable as sitting on a luxurious sofa at home, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy every moment of the movie. What really sets AMC apart is their fully automated reclining seats. With the touch of a button, you can easily adjust the backrest, leg rest, and overall seating position, making it perfect for both adults and kids. My children were thrilled with how fun and comfortable the seating was, and it made the entire movie even more enjoyable for them. The theater environment is clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, creating a cozy and immersive atmosphere. Combined with great sound and picture quality, it made the whole experience unforgettable. AMC truly knows how to make movie-going feel special, and we definitely look forward to coming back again!”

“I paid $8 (after tax) for waffle fries at this AMC location and was honestly disappointed. The portion size was extremely small. The box wasn’t even half full. For the price, I expected a proper serving, especially at a movie theater where food is already premium-priced. I understand theater concessions are expensive, but at least make the portion feel reasonable. This just felt underfilled and not worth the money. Hope management can improve consistency and value.”
