1 / 2AMC Roosevelt Field 8
đ Garden City, NY
AMC theater location plagued by consistently rude management and poor crowd control. Parents report hostile treatment and disruptive movie experiences.
First ill say whats good about the theatre. The staff at the desk and cleaning staff are very nice and respectful. Care about the customers. On the other hand, the manager doesnt. After my friends and I finished watching Goat, which was a good movie, we were waiting in the corner without making a ruckus and were told to leave and wait outside, when its freezing cold at 9PM. When we tried going back in, again due to the cold, he urged us out and warned us not to come in again. We were quietly and politely waiting for our rides to arrive yet were ushered outside. Zero care for customers and probably stereotyped us as a typical teenage group.
đ Family Action Verdict
This AMC location has serious customer service problems that make it unsuitable for families seeking a pleasant movie experience. Management appears consistently hostile toward younger customers, and disruptive audiences go unchecked. Families would be better served choosing alternative theaters in the area.
