This movie theatre is beyond awesome. If you want to enjoy a movie in Spanish then this is it! It’s clean, customer service is great. It’s an older movie theatre, layout including chairs like the ones that you would only pay $1.50 back in the day. They sell tamarindo (spicy) candy’s and also have Valentina salsa that you could put on your popcorn. I do have to say the movies are so limited and they show maybe like 4-5 at a time but it’s worth the wait. Highly recommend.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for Spanish-speaking families wanting to watch current animated and family films in Spanish in a relaxed, community-atmosphere setting. The authentic snack selection and cultural familiarity make it a distinct experience from mainstream chains.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

β€œOriginally, this was called Sonora Cinemas. I grew up watching the movies here as a kid. With that original name till it was changed, I had like a best childhood in there. Till it made me sad that they changed the name hmm I wonder why?.. But. So far, I like this movie Theater. I would go there with my family even when a movie comes up in the ads. We just go straight here! It's cheap here! Plus the movies are in spanish which is great! Popcorn is my favorite here!”

β€œWatched a movie today and it went amazing! No big lines to buy tickets and food, great audio quality and very clean place. The screen is smaller than other theaters, but is decent. Yes, every movie is in Spanish. Also, the place has only one small entrance (and is not inside the mall), which is East to the Burlington store. Anyways, I enjoyed my time there, thanks!”

β€œAt this time, I think this is the only place in Phoenix where you can watch movies in Spanish. When I got there I got confused for a bit because the name is not in the front, I walked in and I realized I was in the right place. The staff was friendly and polite. The screen may be smaller than others but it was good, the sound is pretty good, so we enjoyed the movie.”
