I brought my daughter with special needs here. I was so excited that she could manage this whole playground by her self. She is 4 and just started walking, she was able to get on and up to the top area without help. Since the playground is ADA accessible it is wider, so my daughter could take her time while other kids could still pass her without squeezing by. This park is beautiful and green (we are from the desert) and has a beautiful "hidden" treasure up the steep sidewalk, or you can go around and have a less aggressive incline. Animals are scurring and swimming about. I was sad to see that they were resurfacing the following day for the rest of the week since I was only here for the week. Definitely a great place for kids and picnicking! Will visit again!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with toddlers and children with special needs or mobility challenges, thanks to the ADA-compliant equipment and accessible layout. The pond and wildlife make it engaging beyond the play structures themselves. Equipment heats up quickly in direct sun with sparse shade — plan for morning visits and bring sun protection.

â„šī¸ What to Know Before You Go

💡Visit in the morning before equipment and slides heat up in direct sun — shade is sparse
⏰Inspect play equipment before kids start — report any safety notes to parks management
đŸŽŸī¸The pond-side benches are the best shaded seating spots on-site
🚗Squirrels are overfed by visitors and approach boldly — advise children before they're surprised

“Large yet a low standing playground. Lots of space to run around. There's a sand pit, swings (no baby swing 😐) and couple of monkey bars. Restrooms were nearby and nice amount of benches and picnic tables around the area.”

“Visited this park while on vacation. It had a pond and nice park. My kids had a great time running around for a few hours. The squirrels are huge from getting fed human food. Clean park with bathrooms as well.”
