I absolutely loved my visit here! My girlfriend and I came to celebrate her birthday, and we were lucky enough to get a time slot where it was just the two of us. Because one of the workers was out sick, we actually got our tour from the owner herself, and she was fantastic! She was funny, caring, and you could instantly tell how much she truly loves and looks after her animals. She even knew every single one by name — which was so impressive and heartwarming to see. The owner made sure we felt completely comfortable the whole time. She told us which animals were okay to pet and which were a bit more “naughty,” and she never pressured us to do anything we didn’t want to. We got to pet and feed several animals, take pictures, and even got some extra time with our favorites — the rabbits! 🐰 She also helped us hold the animals properly and explained the right way to interact with them. What really stood out was how open and honest she was. She clearly explained which animals were rescued and which were bred, and it was obvious she takes their well-being very seriously. Her sense of humor and kindness made the entire experience fun, relaxing, and memorable. The whole place was clean, well-maintained, and free of any strong odors — something I really appreciated since that’s not always the case at animal farms. If I had to mention one small thing, it would be that the entrance could use clearer signage. We weren’t totally sure where to park or where to meet at first and accidentally walked too far in. Once we figured it out, though, everything went smoothly. Overall, this was an amazing experience that we’ll cherish forever. I can’t recommend it enough! Whether you’re an animal lover or just looking for a fun and wholesome outing, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back soon — and next time, I’m bringing friends!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 1 and up who want genuine hands-on animal contact rather than observation from a distance. The guided format means even very young children interact safely under staff supervision. Small group sizes deliver a personalised experience that larger farm parks can't match. Book in advance for the best slot selection.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Wear washable clothes — hands-on animal contact is part of every tour
Book in advance for smaller group sizes and more personalised attention
🎟️Exotic animal encounters (reptiles, birds) require a separate advance booking
🚗Look for signage carefully on arrival — some visitors initially miss the entrance

I spent the day at Animal Interaction in W Nyack today. Came with a group of adults teens and children and we ALL had a most wonderful time! The place was clean and well kept. The staff was so helpful! Everyone we interacted with was so friendly, respectful and helpful. Our guide, Sabrina, did a wonderful job! She was patient and so attentive to what the children were interested in etc. The animals looked so happy and the baby goats were absolutely adorable! The horses and pony rides were just perfect for our inexperienced riders. Highly reccomend this place and will definitely return!
