1 / 3Barber Family Farm
π Lancaster, CA
Weekend farm open for petting zoo visits, pony rides, and hands-on animal feeding. Features ducks, bunnies, goats, tortoises, and ponies. Toddler-friendly with pram access and birthday party options. All ages welcome.
This was our second visit. Great experience for my little one who absolutely loved the ducks and bunnies. Guests can get up close with the bunnies and the play pen for the kids. Animals are tame and used to lots of visitors. Animals are well kept and well taken care of from the look of things. Bought some locally made sourdough at the farm too and was pretty good. Only 4 ingredients so definitely a good and healthy choice. Limited parking inside but loads of space to park outside.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and young kids wanting a genuine hands-on farm visit without the scale or crowds of a commercial venue. Every animal is tame and accustomed to visitors. The outdoor layout is easy to navigate and the relaxed pace suits nervous or younger children. Get the large feed bucket β every reviewer wishes they had.

βThis is a delightful hidden gem that I hope the community discovers and enjoys as much as we did. My husband and I were not disappointed. There were so many cute animals to see. We purchased a medium bucket of food to interact with the farm animals and we wished we had gotten the large. There were also Pumpkins for purchase and a couple of vendors. We're bringing the grandkids the next time they come to town. Please support local businesses.β

βWhat a delightful day! This little farm is so cute and very well put together. Its very inviting and easy to navigate. The entrance fee is $5 and there's various feed bucket options. The animals are friendly and available for pets and head scratches. Theres shady areas to rest and plenty of space to walk around and see everything. We had a great time and will be back soon.β

βSuch a cool place. We went with grandparents and kids during pumpkin season. This was our first time being here. I would love to see if they do different holiday themed events. And would definitely love to go back just to feed the pigs and pet bunnies. The tortuous' were so amazing. The staff were super friendly as well. Loved itβ
