1 / 3Bill Rosendahl Del Rey Park
📍 Del Rey, CA
Multi-use park in Marina del Rey with a gated, well-equipped children's playground — climbing structure, swings, sandpit — plus separate off-leash dog areas divided by dog size, lighted basketball courts, paddle tennis, pickleball courts, and picnic
This park was nice and clean we parked across the street we saw lots of fur kids there but the fur kids are not allowed in the playground they have restrooms it looks like they need a code so not sure if people were able to use the restroom without the code the park has picnic tables and tennis courts and a baseball court also nice place for fur kids to run around and play and have a picnic
🏆 Family Action Verdict
The top choice in the Marina del Rey area for families with kids and dogs who want both safely accommodated in one location. The gated playground reassures parents with toddlers, and the dual-size dog areas let larger pets run without risk to small dogs. Tennis and pickleball courts require early arrival at peak times.

“One of my favorite parks in this area to take our dog to. The dog park is split between the small and large dogs. There are a few tennis courts, pickle ball courts that are highly used. They have a big fenced playground for the kids and a basketball court and of course a lot of grass to run around.”

“Great park for dogs, for kids, for everyone. The dog play areas are massive and clean. The kids play area is well equipped and maintained, with multiple structures (a climbing structure, swings etc) and a sandpit. Lots of shade and green wide space too. Several tennis and squash courts available.”

“Best dog park in LA county. Good size with astroturf, water fountains, benches, shade. Separate section for small dog. Friendly people, friendly dogs. Parking is sometimes a problem.”
