1 / 3Billy's Midway Arcade
📍 Hawthorne, NY
Retro arcade in Hawthorne with over 100 classic cabinets and roughly 25 pinball machines spanning the 1970s–90s, all on free play. Time-based admission means no quarters — just show up and play.
This place is awesome, I wish there were more like it. Lots of old classic cabinets and pinball machines. You also got a couple of fighters, some racers, sports, there's something for everyone. No quarters, you pay based on how long you stay and it's worth every penny. People of Hawthorne, you are truly blessed and I envy you. Support your local arcade!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for school-age kids and teens who love retro gaming and pinball — the sheer volume and variety keeps multiple age groups busy for hours. Younger children can join in on simpler cabinets, and the all-day pass removes any pressure to rush. Toddlers will find little to do independently here.

“Billy does a great job maintaining these classic games. Even when kids beat on them, Billy takes it in stride and quietly repairs them. It’s a ton of work to keep them all in such great shape. He is always rotating in new games. Love this place.”

“If you like retro games, this is the place ! The selection is the biggest I've experienced at any retro arcade. The day pass is reasonably prized and so worth it! I played till I dropped! Literally played for like 7 hours.”
