1 / 2Bouldering Project - Eckington
π Northeast Washington, DC
DC Bouldering Project in Eckington offers 34,714 sq ft of climbing space across beginner to advanced routes, including the 55-foot Beast overhang wall. Youth classes, family-level bouldering, yoga, fitness, and social events run throughout the week.
Love the Bouldering Project. I've been a member since they first opened, and they keep getting better and better. The staff is super friendly and inclusive. They offer a wide variety of programming outside of simply bouldering. I particularly enjoy the yoga.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids ages 6 and up who want a structured introduction to climbing. Youth class programming makes this a strong entry point for children new to the sport. Bouldering requires no harness or rope, lowering the barrier for first-timers.
