Not all of the consoles in the lanes have good communication to the front desk when you need assistance and on lanes one through eight, they have no control over the ceiling fans. They just go at high speed which causes you to be a little cold or chilly when you’re bowling in the winter time when ask about changing the speed apparently it’s a corporate decision with Bowlero to not fix it because they would have to do bids and it get complicated so they don’t wanna repair it

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for school-age kids and teens who can rotate between bowling, arcade games, and pool. The private party rooms work well for structured birthday celebrations. Younger children will enjoy the arcade independently. Families should book lanes in advance, especially on weekends, as walk-in availability can be unpredictable.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Reserve lanes online ahead of your visit β€” walk-in availability is not guaranteed even when the center appears empty.
⏰Ask to be assigned lanes nine and above if temperature comfort matters, as fans on lanes one through eight run at fixed high speed.
🎟️Check the weekly promotions page before visiting for multi-game deals.

β€œWent to go bowl on a Sunday afternoon and was told we couldn’t cause of β€œno lanes were available” . There were at least 20 lanes open. Complete empty bowling alley. They should just put a sign on the door not open to public. Go elsewhere to bowl. In fact the two ladies at the front were telling people to go to lucky strike. This is how you treat customers tell them to go elsewhere.”

Overview

Bowlero Thousand Oaks offers 40 polished lanes alongside an arcade, pool tables, and a full-service sports bar with food. Private event rooms make it a go-to for birthday parties and group outings. The pro shop covers gear needs on-site, and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible. Some reviewers note lane communication systems can be inconsistent, and the ceiling fans on lanes one through eight run at high speed without local control.
