An unexpected, shade-drenched respite from the hot gravel of the Trolley Bike Trail. I caught a flat tire, so we stopped here in the shade to make the repair. I don't know the story of this statue, but there are a couple dozen fascinatingly random bird items that have been carefully placed here. Candle holders, dishes, ornaments, figurines, even a yellow duckie piggy bank. It is an unexpectedly interesting and comfortably shaded rest stop.
