Our boys had an itch to ice skate while we were visiting the area to since they didn't have to go over a week without skating. Other reviews for this arena sounded promising and the price was right, so we decided to drop in during their free skate. The employees here were very polite and helpful and the facilities were top notch! We were all happy we stopped by to let them skate and we will certainly come back the next time we're in the area.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for skating families and youth hockey players in the Troy-Oakland area. Public skate sessions work for casual family visits with kids of any age. Skating aid rentals help young beginners. “Their lemon pepper wings are delicious 🤤 service was great and appreciated me stopping by, some waitress/ waiter you can tell when they don’t want to be bothered. I didn’t get that vibe, and I wasn’t over charged. Very clean inside, not over crowded.. great place for a date.”

“Just finished my son's Future Wings week long hockey camp with Coach J. I do not recommend this camp. My son, who is a very good skater and for an 8 year old pretty tough, wanted out after the first day. The CONSTANT blaring 1980's heavy metal music, the yelling, screaming and Coach J's obnoxious whistle where beyond annoying. My son said some kids were crying. My son said some of the drills were okay, and would go back and try hard, but came home every day and said he did not find any part of it fun. I watched the last day's "scrimmage" which was nothing buy over an hour of shinny hockey followed by 30 minutes of push ups and what amounted to ladder-type skating, all with the same heavy metal blaring. Plus, no water breaks. This might be a good camp for middle school players, but Coach J has no idea how to treat young kids. I've coached all levels of house, travel even high school and I was appalled at this mess.”
