1 / 3Cantiague Park
π Hicksville, NY
Well-maintained park offering diverse activities including swimming pools, mini golf, playgrounds, and sports facilities. Perfect for families wanting variety in one location.
Cantiague Park has a real garden feel to it. I can see the caretakers take pride in their plants but, it also seems as if the budget isn't much. But they did great with what they've got and there are some beautifully maintained plants and trees. There is mini and regular sized golf available. I saw loads of benches and tables for picnics. There is also an ice-rink. To the back of the rink there are six basketball courts and three full courts with one entryway. There was a basket missing on my visit. Hopefully they'll sort this out before Summer Camp 2019. The signs around says no dogs but hey, look at that couple over there walking rover. Smh. Now you KNOW if the tables were turned I'd probably end up on social media. Dog Watch Dorothy would have surely called the cops on me. Smh again. If you're coming from the city, you'd need to get off at exit W2 W. I luuuurve this park and took many pics of their garden. The End.
π Family Action Verdict
This versatile park works well for families with children of various ages, offering everything from toddler playgrounds to teen activities like batting cages and basketball courts. The well-maintained grounds and clean facilities make it particularly appealing for longer family outings. Be aware that some equipment and signage may need attention, so have backup activity plans.

ββοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ Cantiague Park is absolutely beautiful! The entire place was spotless and so well cared for. Itβs a perfect spot to take the kids β lots of open space and plenty of seating. You can relax in the shade under the gorgeous trees or enjoy the sun if thatβs your vibe. The bathrooms were immaculate (which is rare and so appreciated!). Everyone we came across was friendly, and parking was super easy. Overall, such a welcoming, family-friendly park β weβll definitely be coming back! π³βοΈβ

βLovely park and play area. They had a pool(8-6), hockey/ice skating rink, playground for young children, batting cages bring your own bat, driving range, golf course. The park is open 24hrs but the side activities have certain hours of operation. Best to call and ask for the hoursβ

βNicely sized park for a good walk. They need to replace some of the signs which are way too faded. There's a grass path that eventually leads to a fence, kinda annoying. By the chess tables and other courts, the entrance way rocks are torn up or missing and it can be very dangerous, be careful! Overall, it's like a smaller Eisenhower Park. Nice purple flowers grow in the grass.β
