“Potential hazards like children skating in opposite directions is ignored while the owner targets people to not allow to even try skating holding onto a skate mate. Don't waste your time driving there. It's a no brainer that skating can be hazardous and people who haven't done it in a while have to be careful. If the owner feels it's so dangerous, advertise to customers that they all have to try out to skate to be fair. Require helmets, etc. Be consistent and don't allow anyone not steady or ever dealt with a health condition, not just people you suspect won't be able to skate. (You wouldn't have many customers left to pay your business expenses if only experienced, skilled skaters are allowed to skate or try to skate). The owner makes assumptions about people she has no factual proof of to forbid them from even trying to skate with the use of a skate mate. That's discrimination. I don't know anyone who skates regularly these days like years ago. Don't waste your time going to this place because the rude owner could jump to conclusions about you and decide that you can't even try skating if she feels like it. Why waste your time driving to this out of the way place far from highways if you may not measure up to the owner's expectations? If she feels this activity is so dangerous, why doesn't she have a requirement to use a skate mate for all to check skill level and avoid the risk of skaters of unfamiliar skills? They charge for every little thing. The building and skates look very dated. Little kids are falling all over the place, but she targets adults. I never heard anyone mention any other skating or roller rinks refusing to let some people try. The majority of their customers are kids and adults struggling to skate slowly.”
