Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens
π Sanford, FL
AZA-affiliated zoo and botanical garden in Sanford with reptiles, birds, primates, and larger mammals across walkable grounds.
I visited 11 years ago and I took great photos. I wonder if these animals are still there as itβs said snakes can live up to 30 years and parrots 80? Possibly. Well, either way, I hope I have immortalized them well with these photos. π₯Ήπππand that they lived a good life.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids ages 3β10 who respond to animal encounters and structured programming rather than large zoological collections. The Storytime and Kids Night Out events add genuine educational value.

βGreat little place, but look up discounted tickets because it's expensive...β
