Children's Aquarium Dallas at Fair Park is a compact, hands-on venue where kids can touch stingrays, experience doctor fish, and meet live animals with on-site handlers. Most visitors cover the full aquarium in around one hour.
We attended 4/18 for a 1 year old birthday party and I wanted to give a special shoutout to the amazing staff and animal handlers at the aquarium. My 2 year old was very hands on and enthusiastic about the lizard we were privileged to observe and experience during the party. The handler for “Mary” was extremely good with her and had the patience of a saint. This was our first experience at the Children’s Aquarium of Dallas and we will certainly be back all because of how educational, patient, and enthusiastic the staff were with the children. My daughter ended up “volunteering” to assist the handler during the experience and her willingness to include her and make her feel special when it wasn’t even her birthday 😅 was so sweet. It is such a breath of fresh air and I really want them to know how much I appreciate their effort and time.
