📍 Downtown, CO
CityROCK spans 15,980 sq ft with 90+ rope routes, 70+ boulder problems, and multiple auto-belays — with dedicated kids' areas, a separate experienced-climber upper floor, and programming that has welcomed children as young as 6.
First time experience for my 8 year old kiddo and he loveddddd it! Staff are super friendly and helpful getting them started. A waiver, video and a small starter run through. Plenty of rock wall space for kids and parents, then another floor for the experienced climbers. The place is well kept, clean and we will definitely be coming back. 💕
🏆 Family Action Verdict
One of the most family-intentional climbing gyms in Colorado — the two-floor layout separates experienced climbers from kids' areas without excluding either group. The structured first-time orientation with waiver, video, and staff walkthrough reduces intimidation for first-time family visits.
