1 / 2Constitution Beach Children's Playground
📍 Harbor View / Orient Heights, MA
Constitution Beach Children's Playground sits beside an urban beach in East Boston, featuring well-maintained equipment and a front-row view of passing trains and low-flying planes—a natural hit with young kids.
Beautiful park. Well maintained and seems brand new. Trains and planes going by. What more could a kid want!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with younger kids who love transport spotting alongside playground time. The beach adds value for warmer visits. Pack a change of clothes since there are no changing rooms, and expect some aircraft noise given the proximity to Logan Airport.

“It was the first man made beach I've ever been to and also the first urban beach I've ever been to so it was just a different vibe from what I'm used to. The other visitors were fine but there was no where to change and there seemed to be a fair amount of construction going on at the time.”

“Me encanta caminar por la playa pero el aire muy contaminado por los aviones.”

Overview
Set at Constitution Beach in East Boston, this playground combines a well-maintained, near-new play structure with one of the city's more unique sensory backdrops: trains and planes pass regularly, entertaining kids who might otherwise be distracted. Reviewers call it beautiful and well-kept. The adjacent beach extends the outing, and there are no changing facilities on-site. Construction activity has been noted nearby during summer visits.
