Cowboy Trail Rides Red Rock Canyon is home to 55 horses who are well taken care of, loved and spoiled! Through the inclined terrain, rocks sand and mud up 5,000 feet and coasting along the rim at the top of this mountain we rode. Home to mountain lions, coyotes, wild mules and horses. A priceless experience in nature with clean , crisp air—-hard to believe this area was covered in snow just a week ago! “I had a great time at Cowboy Trails! The guides were super helpful and kind — you can tell they really care about both the guests and the animals. The trail itself is absolutely beautiful, with incredible desert scenery all around. About half of the “horses” are actually mules, and they’re wonderful to ride; sure-footed and gentle. The steak dinner afterward was delicious and came in a very hearty portion, perfect after a long ride. This is a great experience for beginners, too! Just be honest about your riding experience level when you arrive; the guides do a fantastic job matching each person with the right horse (or mule) so everyone feels comfortable and safe on the trail. They also accommodate plus-size riders (300+ lbs), which is amazing and makes the experience accessible to more people! I would definitely do this again next time I'm in Vegas.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Red Rock Cowboy Trail Rides! Our ride started at noon, and before heading out, the guides spent about 30 minutes explaining how to ride and matching us with the right horses. The scenery along the trail was beautiful, and the horses were very gentle and well-trained. Our young lady guide was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive throughout the ride, especially with beginners and kids, which made us feel very comfortable and safe. Our 7-year-old daughter had an amazing time — highly recommend for families!”

“One of my favorite trail ride experiences ever!! It was absolutely worth it! The communication from the staff was great, my sister had to cancel and they were accommodating to the change of plans. Friendly guides that were super nice and they even let me ride Sage, the mule I said I really liked 😁 the views were stunning for the entire ride and the food was cooked perfectly! I would come back and do it again.”
