1 / 2Dani's Strike Zone
π Elmont, NY
Family-friendly bowling alley in Elmont featuring disco bowling with music and blacklights, plus arcade games, birthday party packages, and a full food menu with bar.
My girlfriend and I drive 20-30 min to come to this place. I have a bowling alley closer, maybe 10-12 min, in Woodmere but prefer to take the ride to Dani's instead. The prices are better, the place is pretty clean and modern and the food is great and affordable. I always order some snacks whenever I go. Its just part of [making] the experience [better], imo. They have a nice little interactive system on screen with an intercom and you can even trash talk other lanes whete your friends are playing via instant messaging directly from your console, which makes everything more fun and exciting. You can choose the theme of your bowling, take selfies and if you want, it even plays cute little animations with your faces cropped on to cartoons lol. My girl loves it. Pretty much everything about this place is awesome. They avtually let you finish your games! They charge per game while most other places charge by time and unfortunately will be quick to kill your lane right in the middle of a game. Last time we went, I believe it was 27 for 2 games for 2 people with shoes included. We weren't rushed to finish and even took a break in between games to enjoy the tasty food I had mentioned previously. Always a great time when we come to Dani's. Highly recommended. UPDATE 3/1/23: They seem to have gotten rid of the scoring system that I mentioned in my review. No more avatars acting out funny clips. No more instant messaging btwn lanes. It's a completely different, boring system now. I assume the last OS was an AMF setup and they probably had to remove it for some reason or another being that they aren't AMF franchised. Also, it's a tad bit difficult to get a lane some times due to the leagues playing. Always call ahead and get the run down. I trooped it over there twice in the last month and couldn't play. Had to turn around and go back home or find other plans. Talk to the front desk as they are really helpful with giving you an idea of when to come. Still a great place when it comes to pricing and food.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families seeking affordable bowling with good food and entertainment value. Staff can be hit-or-miss, and league play often limits availability. Ideal for patient families willing to call ahead and work around scheduling constraints.

βπ *5/5 stars - Bowl-tastic Experience! π³* Just bowled at "Strike Zone" and it was a blast! Loves the retro vibe, bumpin' tunes, and ESPECIALLY the staff π. Crew was top-notch: super friendly, ridiculously funny, and made our group of 10 feel like regulars π. They even helped us newbies get our bowling legs (arms?) and laughed at our gutter balls π€. Food was decent, alleys were slick... but honestly, it was all about the staff. If you're looking for a fun night out, Strike Zone's the spot π. P.S. The nachos are a must π.β

βAttempted to go at 12:25 am during a summer evening and was told they were closed. Google stated 2 am closure, they stated it was 1 am. Still asked why we couldnβt bowl and apparently they also have to leave at 1 am and arenβt paid to stay after for closing duties. Shitty policies and serviceβ
