1 / 2Denver Bouldering Club Central
📍 West, CO
Over 35,000 sq ft of bouldering terrain across three Denver Metro locations with routesetting covering slab, vertical, and overhang walls. Open to drop-in climbers and members. Small fitness area on-site. Founded 2009 as a climbing co-op.
Old school warehouse feel to this gym. I really liked the setting. Not too many dynos or stupid modern comp stuff. A good amount of slab and vertical walls so you don't get tired too fast.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
A solid introduction to bouldering for families with children aged 7 and up — low walls, foam pads, and no harness requirement reduce the intimidation factor for first-timers. Older kids and teens with any climbing interest will find routes across a wide difficulty range. Younger children should be supervised closely on the mats.

“They will NOT allow you to cancel your membership!! I have called and left multiple messages and no one ever answers the phone or calls back. I’ve called at many times of day on multiple days. I had to dispute the charges and change my card number. Was a good gym when I climbed there but incredibly bad service and borderline predatory.”
