We have been members here for a couple of years. The exhibits are certainly geared towards younger kids. I have toddlers, so it’s worth it for me since they utilize Tiny Town. The upstairs rotating exhibit often seems tired and not very engaging. We often find there are missing pieces or elements to an exhibit. The staff are friendly and the water table is fun. Biggest area for improvement is to keep all exhibits operational. I don’t think we will renew once our kids outgrow Tiny Town.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with toddlers and preschoolers who will get maximum use from Tiny Town. Children ages 2–5 are in the sweet spot. Older kids (7+) may find the exhibits less engaging on a return visit. Families with mixed ages should factor in that upstairs rotating exhibits can be hit-or-miss depending on the current installation.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Membership pays off if you have toddlers β€” the museum is designed for repeat short visits
⏰Call ahead to ask about the current upstairs exhibit before planning a visit around it
🎟️Tiny Town is the anchor experience; budget at least 45 minutes there alone for toddlers
πŸš—Weekday visits typically draw smaller crowds than weekend sessions
