1 / 2Dominguez Park
π North Redondo, CA
Sprawling 24-acre park with a three-acre fenced dog park split into small and large dog sections, a 2025-built playground, two Little League fields, picnic areas, and Heritage Court historic homes. Open dawn to dusk.
Dominguez Park has a GREAT dog park divided between designated areas for small and large dogs. The dogs love it, the area is huge with an obstacle course towards the back end of the large-dog park. There are a couple well-maintained baseball fields and a nice playground for kids on the south end of the park. Also, there are a couple historic buildings on the property giving Domiguez Park an overall very welcoming vibe. Enjoy!
π Family Action Verdict
An excellent destination for families with both dogs and children. The divided dog park eliminates the anxiety of small dogs near large ones, and the 2025 playground is a genuine upgrade. The 24-acre spread means families with kids and pets can spread out rather than competing for space.

βClean, fun and super dog friendly. A MUST VIST DOG PARK. iI see people in the fenced area and even in the grass outside in the park having fun with their dogs. That's amazing. It's big enough to walm and enjoy, has a superb playground that's brand new 2025 build and two dog parks for big and small dogs. Tip* once it's dark, don't go. Coyotes live near and make their runs right as it begins to get dark.β

βCool place for your dog to burn off some steam. Some people might not like that itβs sandy but itβs better than having grass and or weeds all over your dog. Kevin loved this place.β

βQuiet with two good sized playgrounds and swings. Paths between here and the dog part are well kept and there are often groups of green parrots around the nearby trees.β

Overview
Dominguez Park spans 24 acres with a dedicated dog park that divides into separate large and small dog areas, each with turf, benches, and drinking fountains. The main playground was rebuilt in 2025. Two Little League baseball fields, picnic areas, and Heritage Court with historic homes round out the facilities. Paths between the dog park and playground are well-kept. Native green parrots are regularly spotted in the surrounding trees.
