📍 Lakeshore, CA
36,000 sq ft playground inside the San Francisco Zoo with three bio-region themed zones: River Play Area for ages 6 months–2 years, Polar Zone for ages 2–5, and Banyan Tree climbing structure for ages 5–12. Fenced infant/toddler section included.
So many options here! My kids love this playground more than the animals....
🏆 Family Action Verdict
One of San Francisco's most age-specific playgrounds. Each zone is deliberately sized and themed for its target age group, making it genuinely useful for families with children from infancy through age 12. The fenced infant area gives parents of crawlers and new walkers real peace of mind.

“A huge playground with different sections and themes. One big part is decorated in polar arctic theme, while three other one is made with fairy wooden treehouse. There is also one separated area with fences for little babies and toddlers in cute animal sets. Families with kids must visit! It’s time to burn your children’s forever flowing energy.”
