1 / 2Emma Prusch All-Inclusive Playground
π Alum Rock, CA
Set within Emma Prusch Farm Park, this all-inclusive playground features climbing structures, hills to run, and expansive open space. The surrounding farm park adds a rural atmosphere in the heart of San Jose. No admission charge.
Amazing park but I noticed a lot of things that could potentially hurt my children. Thereβs also no shade over the play structure and park for the kids.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for kids aged 3 and up who love active climbing and open exploration. Families with children who have mobility considerations will appreciate the all-inclusive design. Go early on hot days β play structures lack overhead shade and can heat up significantly. Toddlers need close supervision on larger structures.

Emma Prusch All-Inclusive Playground sits inside the 46-acre former dairy farm preserved as a city park on South King Road. The playground features large climbing structures and natural hills kids can scramble and explore. The all-inclusive design accommodates a range of abilities. Reviewers flag sparse shade over the play structures β surfaces can get hot in summer. The surrounding farm park adds extra roaming space and a rural feel.
