π Encanto Village, AZ
Encanto Park in central Phoenix features duck ponds, multiple playgrounds, paved walking paths, and a free-entry amusement section with train rides and carousel. Pedal boats and fishing add activity variety. Best visited in cooler months.
I will definitely will be coming back once the temperature drops. Such a beautiful park we took our daughter for a small photo shoot and also we took advantage and had some ourselves the park was clean lots of wildlife my daughter was very excited to see the wildlife, plenty of parking. I didnβt really walked around just because it was very hot and had my daughter.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 1β10 who want a varied outdoor day without admission cost. The free train and carousel make it exceptional value. Toddlers do well at the duck ponds and playgrounds; older kids gravitate toward the amusement rides and pedal boats.

βI was genuinely surprised by how much I loved this park. I had no idea such a hidden gem existed in Phoenix, especially so close to home. Itβs spacious and offers plenty to do, making it easy to spend a few hours there. The pond with ducks is a lovely touch, and the view of midtown in the background adds a unique city-meets-nature vibe.β

βStopped by here, visiting from out of the state. Cute little park. Loved the water ways that had tons of ducks and geese inside. Lots of playgrounds for kids with fun sculptures around to view. They even had some sort of tiny amusement park for little kids. Would visit againβ

βOne of my favorite parks in Phoenix. It is pretty large. There's an amusement park, pedal boat rentals, fishing, picnic tables, playground and plenty of parkingβ

Overview
Encanto Park spreads across central Phoenix with duck ponds where waterfowl are plentiful year-round, multiple playground structures, paved pram-friendly trails, and a free-entry amusement section housing a train ride and carousel. Pedal boat rentals and fishing round out the water-based options. Plenty of parking throughout the grounds. Phoenix summer heat significantly limits outdoor enjoyment β cooler months from October through April are the prime visiting window.
