1 / 2Evelyn's Park
π Bellaire, TX
Five-acre Bellaire park with three distinct age-appropriate play areas, a summer splash pad, Alice in Wonderland art installation, Great Lawn for picnics, and an on-site cafe. Free entry with parking on-site.
Weβve been coming to this spot for years and have always loved it. Itβs located in a wonderful area with an open layout, a park right next door, and truly beautiful scenery. There are tall trees, plenty of shade, and outdoor seating that makes it a great place to relax, especially on nice days. The setup is casual: you check in, place your order, find a table, and pick up your food when itβs ready. Seating indoors is limited, but they do offer outdoor seating. They have a nice selection of coffee, pastries, cookies, and menu items, and itβs always a hit with kids. They also host small events, which adds to the community feel. We recently attended a charity event here for a close friend, and it was a great experience. I originally introduced her to this location, and she chose it for her event β we were more than happy to support both her and this small business. A couple things to note: there is only one small, single-stall restroom, so on busy days you may have to wait. Parking is also limited β thereβs a small lot, and often youβll need to park across the street at the church depending on the time of day. Overall, this is a fantastic, family-friendly spot. Itβs perfect for kids, groups, and a relaxed, playful atmosphere. This is not really a quiet date-night destination β itβs more of a lively, run-around, have-fun kind of place, and it does that very well.
π Family Action Verdict
A strong pick for mixed-age groups β the three distinct play zones mean a toddler and a ten-year-old each have their own territory. The splash pad is the centrepiece in summer, and the cafe means no mid-day pack-up to find food. Plan around sparse parking on busy weekend mornings; the single restroom creates queues when the park is full.

βWe always have fun here. There are 3 play areas and a big field area. One has climbing activity, it seems more for school-age kids. One has a sand area and slide, plus some climbing stuff for preschool. There is a water pad separating them, which is a hit with all ages. The big field area is where organized activities are offered by park staff, and I've also seen kids learning how to play soccer here. It is all surrounded by a track where many people stroll, speed walk, or run. Add to this a reasonably priced indoor, outdoor dining cafe playing music, and the whole family can share all the fun they've had over some nice food or coffee & ice cream.β

βI LOVE this place. Well my daughter does, so I do too. They have three areas to play β a regular playground, a ropes course(ish) playground and a splash pad. Iβve been there just solo with my daughter and for birthday parties. My only request is that other people clean up after themselves.β

βVery nice area and atmosphere. Very kid friendly. They have food and adult beverages... You can take a blanket and enjoy the area and make a day of it. Take a picnic basket... Enjoyβ

Evelyn's Park spans five acres with a toddler-friendly sand-and-slide area, a climbing and ropes course for school-age kids, and a splash pad between them that draws all ages in summer.
