1 / 2Everett Railroad Company
đ Hollidaysburg, NY
Historic Pennsylvania railroad running steam and diesel excursions through wooded countryside, with popular seasonal events including the Santa Train with cocoa and cookies, Ice Cream Train, and Pumpkin Train.
đ Family Action Verdict
A year-round family favourite strongest during its seasonal themed events. The Santa Express is the headline experience - toddlers through tweens respond to the full package of decorations, treats, a Santa visit, and a steam engine in cold weather. Families travelling specifically for steam should verify engine No.

âCelebrating our 35th Business Anniversary was a milestone we wanted to mark with an unforgettable experience. Having hosted events across the United States, from grand hotels to sprawling event centers, we believed we had seen it all-until we boarded The Everett Railroad. The experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped aboard The Everett Railroad, we were transported into a realm of nostalgia and charm that set the perfect tone for our celebration. The team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was meticulously attended to, leaving us and our guests thoroughly impressed. Hannah, Danielle, and the ENTIRE Everett Railroad team is nothing short of AMAZING!! If you are planning an event, personal or business, look no further!!!!â

âMAGICAL! Wonderful experience with our twin 3 year olds and 8 year old on the Santa ride this weekend. Adorable gift shop, cocoa and local baked cookies before the ride. We did a first class car (1183) with tables - wonderful service (adult drinks!), chocolate, a visit with Santa and photos. Lovely music and warm car that was beautifully decorated. The steam engine was amazing in the snow. We have been on other rides, and this really was wonderful. Highly recommend!â

âFantastic experience on the Santa Express. I rode with my niece and great-nieces and nephew. Number 11 engine pulled the train and that is always something special when the steam hits the cold air. It was an awesome sight. The train station was nicely decorated for Christmas. Track runs along a creek and through wooded areas... should be spectacular in Fall.â
