1 / 2Family Ice Center
📍 Falmouth, ME
Indoor and outdoor ice skating at a nonprofit community center in Falmouth, Maine. The Lee Twombly Pond — a recently restored refrigerated outdoor rink — runs seasonally from early December through late February. Skate rentals available indoors.
Fun stuff right there wasn't crowded and has really nice ice i was shocked the rentals were comfy to once I figured out how to tie them to my likeing
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with school-age kids and teens who enjoy outdoor skating in a genuine New England setting. The outdoor pond is the main draw — skating on a maintained refrigerated surface under open sky is a rarer experience than a standard indoor rink. Younger children should have basic skating confidence before attempting the outdoor pond.
