1 / 3Fort Worth Zoo
π Fort Worth, TX
Fort Worth Zoo houses nearly 7,000 animals across diverse exhibits, with toddlers under 2 admitted free. Seasonal add-ons include a waterpark with membership access, Zoo School programs, fishing seminars for kids, and Boo at the Zoo in fall.
It's incredible expensive. Unless you can afford a membership then just go as much as you can. There's so much to see learn and do. Plus when the water park opens it's only $5 to get in with the membership/admission. But that $22 per ticket is crazy.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families who visit multiple times per yearβmembership pays for itself quickly and unlocks waterpark access. First-time visitors with toddlers through elementary-age kids get the most from a full-day self-guided tour. Zoo School and fishing seminars suit ages 5 and up for structured learning.
