âSkates are a wreck, and the ice has a mix of rock to it from the surrounding lot. If this is your first experience skating, you're going to have a bad time! While it's cheaper than the white water center, spend the extra $10 per person so you can actually enjoy it. More on the skates: 1) they're as dull as it gets. I don't know if they have ever been sharpened. This means your feet are just forming to slide freely on the ice instead of catch into the rink. 2) the hard shell rollerblade style may have been a good choice before they were worn by the masses, but the hard plastic is unforgiving at this point. Tongues are broken and will dig into you ankles and feet unless you run them on the outside. It seems like they were retrofitted with the ratcheting straps too.â

âThe ice was awful, skates really cheap and hurt your feet. We were 4 skaters and all 4 of us had to get the skates off. We used to go there and used to be pretty good. Now I do not recommend going there any more.â
