1 / 3Fox Hills Park
π Fox Hills, CA
Multi-sport neighborhood park featuring dedicated pickleball courts, tennis, basketball, volleyball, a playground with toddler and older-kid equipment, BBQ grills, and a looping walking trail. Free entry with parking.
We love this park. Thereβs tons of different activities you can do: tennis, pickleball (dedicated courts!), soccer, basketball, playground. You see people running on the path or folks having gatherings or birthdays in the field. One plus is that there is almost always an open tennis court. There are also bathrooms which are pretty clean and well maintained. Parking can be a bit difficult but usually find something.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for active families with school-age children who want sport variety in one location. The two-section playground covers toddlers and older kids separately. Families with mobility aids should know that the path from parking involves a slight hill and the paths are uneven in sections β manageable once inside.

βAmple parking around the park. Not a huge park but also not small like a block by block square /park. Multiple tennis courts. Basketball court. Picnic tables with grills. Playground (for toddlers and older kids. Seesaw, slide, but no swings). Slight hill walk to enter. Can enter for two streets entrances. Can also walk around the park. Takes me about seven minutes to do one circle at an average pace (not fast).β

βLots of things to do here. You can play basketball, walk on trails, workout on the grass, have a birthday party, play paddle tennis, and they have a few pieces of workout equipment throughout the park. Very good for walking a few days a week. They have now added movie night to their lineup of summer events.β

βI absolutely LOVED this park!!! My son is handicapped & although it was difficult to get him to the park (they have a rough path for wheelchairs) it was a fun, relaxing & clean park once we got to it. The only thing that I would have liked better is for it to be a tad bit more handicapped accessible.β

Overview
Fox Hills Park packs tennis courts, dedicated pickleball courts, a basketball court, volleyball, a two-section playground (toddler and older kids), BBQ facilities, picnic tables, restrooms, a recreation hut, and a gravel loop trail into 10 acres. Birthday parties and family gatherings use the picnic and grill areas regularly. A summer movie night program runs seasonally. Tennis courts are reliably available compared to busier parks in the area.
