1 / 2Frenchtown Roller Rink
đ Frenchtown, NJ
Frenchtown Roller Rink has operated since 1960 in rural Hunterdon County, NJ. Public skate sessions run through the week including a family-friendly afternoon session.
What a beautiful day for a daydream! The floor was well maintained and the kids at the party had so much fun. The games kept them focused and the "chicken dance" was the best đ Great job by the Team
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 5 and up seeking a classic, no-frills skating experience. The daytime family sessions are the most relaxed option for younger skaters. The retro arcade and party room make it a strong birthday party venue for kids who love skating.

âAffordable & fun environment!!! Perfect family day! They have an old arcade area w a coin machine! A step back in time. Also, have private party options! Highly suggest!â

âI used to genuinely enjoy this establishment, but over the past few years, something has shifted dramatically â and not for the better. The owners now behave as though providing basic customer service is optional, as if simply unlocking the doors is some kind of favor to the community. It is not. I am paying for a service, and when you advertise specific hours, the very least you can do is honor them. Reliability should not be negotiable. What is even more troubling is the way children are treated. Berating a child publicly is completely unacceptable under any circumstances. You have no idea what that child may be experiencing at home, what challenges they face, or what emotional weight they carry. If you operate a business that serves families, treating children with respect, patience, and dignity is the bare minimum. If that expectation feels burdensome, then perhaps this is not the right line of work. To be perfectly clear, Flemington offers a far superior skating establishment â one that understands professionalism and respects its patrons. That is where I will be taking my business moving forward, and I will be encouraging everyone I know to do the same. A business that cannot uphold basic standards of respect and customer service does not deserve our loyalty, our time, or our money.â

Overview
One of New Jersey's few surviving classic roller rinks, Frenchtown has been family-owned and operated since 1960. The rink runs multiple public sessions through the week, including an afternoon session and evening options. A vintage coin-operated arcade gives it a step-back-in-time atmosphere that multi-generational families appreciate. Private party packages come with DJ service and access to the party room.
