Funhouse Factory
π Van Nuys, CA
Large indoor playground in Van Nuys featuring slides, ball pits, fairy-tale themed mazes, arcade games, and multiple play zones. Cafe on site. Birthday party packages and full venue rental available. Free non-slip socks provided for all guests.
We really enjoyed it; my child didn't want to leave even after 5 hours of playing. Advantages: Large play area, many slides, play areas, a ball pit, swings, and more. Food and snacks are available for purchase, pleasant staff, parking, convenient opening hours, and reasonable admission price. Disadvantages (in my opinion): lack of safety gates separating the entrance from the play area, the playground itself looks somewhat worn (flooring, toys, balls in the ball pit), and there aren't enough toys in the various themed play zones. There is a tall ladder that worried me, but the staff tried to monitor that area and prevent children from going up to the slide that the ladder leads to, because the slide is designed for sliding down in a special inflatable ring (I don't know the correct term for it). Despite all of the above, my child was very happy and wants to go there many more times.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and children who want a high-variety indoor play destination where kids can move between different activity zones for extended sessions. The themed environment and cafe make it a full-day option. Staff are consistently praised for attentiveness.

βWow! This play place is an absolute gem for little ones! It has EVERYTHINGβhuge slides, ball pits, adorable themed playhouses, arcade games, and so much more. My 2.5-year-old had the time of his life exploring all the different areas, and we easily spent two hours here without a single dull moment. Itβs the perfect spot for rainy or cold days when you need to get out of the house. The space is clean, well-maintained, and totally kid-friendly. Plus, you can conveniently buy pizza and concessions right here, making it super easy to plan a fun outing. This place is a lifesaver for parents looking for a fun, safe, and exciting way to burn off toddler energy!β

βOur new favorite place to be! Fun, clean, and amazing staff. I told the owners this is where I will be almost everyday. My daughter loves this place so much that we played for 3 hours, and I was only able to get my her out because they closed. The art, design, and decorations all over the walls and ceilings is colorful, vibrant and unique. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and courteous. They have a variety of play activities including dollhouses, balls, slides, and more! I think I enjoyed the slides more than my toddler. I added pictures but colored over my toddler and her friends due to privacy.β

βThis place is the absolute best!! Today was my husbandβs and I first time taking our 2 year old and we LOVED it. The lady that was there (I think she was the owner) was SUPER helpful our son hurt himself and she brought him an ice pack! No other places are attentive like this place! She also gave me free socks to put on to be inside! Their food menu has a wide variety. This is our new spot πβ
