Funny Farm Rescue & Sanctuary is such an awesome place! It's like a real-life animal paradise. There are so many animals roaming around freelyβ€”goats, chickens, donkeys, peacocksβ€”you name it! You can pet them, feed them, and just enjoy being surrounded by all the cuteness. πŸπŸ¦†πŸ΄ They even have a little shop where you can buy food to feed the animals, which makes the visit even more interactive and fun. The whole place is peaceful, heartwarming, and full of love for animals. Great for families, kids, or honestly anyone who wants to smile. Definitely a must-visit! ❀️🐾

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

An exceptional hands-on animal experience for families with young children β€” the free-roaming animals create genuine, unscripted interaction that no zoo replicates. Feed buckets typically last 30 minutes of active feeding. Some animals, particularly the donkeys, are persistent food-seekers β€” most young kids find this hilarious.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Bring cash for animal feed buckets β€” they provide the best interaction and last a solid half-hour
⏰Donation entry is encouraged β€” the sanctuary runs entirely on visitor support
🎟️Some animals roam freely and will follow you; secure small bags and pockets around food
πŸš—Critter Camp and volunteer spots benefit from advance sign-up

β€œWhat a great experience! I took my 2 boys under 2 and they loved it! The animals were so friendly (minus the one stalker donkey after all the food). It was $4 for a bucket which lasted a good 30 mins to give away to the animals. There was snacks/drinks for sale at a good price. Everyone was so sweet. It was a great day! We can’t wait to go back!”

β€œI love this place. It’s donation only. Some animals are fenced in…others roam freely and walk around with you! The animals are so silly and just want the snacks they sell for $5 a bucket. They also let you volunteer whenever you want”

β€œThe best animal sanctuary, pet rescue, around. No one else does it like the funny farm does. And every animal has a story. Free admission but accepts donations. Come check them out. You can't beat what they have going on here.”
