1 / 3GameTime Tampa
đ Ybor City Historic District, FL
GameTime Tampa on E 8th Ave combines a large arcade game floor with a full-service restaurant and sports bar. Wristband-based play replaces per-game tokens. The venue covers classic redemption games, ticket prizes, and dining under one roof.
Good game room. Food was good. Friendly staff.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with kids aged 6 and up who want straightforward arcade access without managing tokens or game cards. The wristband model suits families who plan to play for an extended stretch. Read the wristband rules before your first swipe â the timer activates on first use.

âPurchased a packed on Groupon where you get four 30 minute tickets but beware - once you begin playing, the clock is on. So you swipe and start playing and if the game ends quickly then you can't swipe again because it's too soon. I understand this is to prevent people from swiping for others but this greatly impacts your time limits and some of the games are not maintained so you swipe and the games just don't work and now you can't play another game for a few minutes so the whole experience feels rigged. My date swiped one of her cards by accident and played the other card so when we went for our second set of cards - hers would not work. We went to the manager on duty who confirmed it was one game she swiped and it must be an accident but was basically of the mindset- it is what it is so tough cookies. Would not recommend, not the best experience. Bartenders were great though (we loved them) and they do have a decent happy hour.â
