1 / 2Gatorland
π Orlando, FL
Florida's original gator park on 110 acres in Orlando.
We had a great time at Gatorland! This is a must-visit attraction in Orlando if youβre looking for something different from the theme parks. My kids loved seeing the alligators up close, and the shows were both entertaining and educational. The park was easy to walk through, and there were plenty of activities like gator feeding, zip lining, and animal encounters. It was a fun, laid-back experience without the long lines you usually get at bigger parks. Everything was clean, staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was great for families. Definitely recommend visiting Gatorland if youβre in the Orlando area, weβll be back!
π Family Action Verdict
One of the strongest all-ages wildlife experiences in Orlando. The zip line suits kids and adults who want an adrenaline element; live shows and the petting zoo anchor the experience for younger visitors. Plenty of shade and seating throughout the grounds makes full-day visits manageable.

βIt is a land filled with gators. I really enjoyed the humor they put into everything. The shows were all entertaining and the signs are even funny. Lots of information on all the different gators and crocodiles. Other animals to see like snakes and cougars. Plenty of shade and places to sit down and rest. The ticket price for what you get is amazing. Even if it wasn't in Orlando it would be a great deal. The only addon we did was the swamp buggy. It was okay. Food and drink options are limited.β

βThis place was so much more than we expected. Walking in seeing the gators right there was amazing. Then there were snakes,a petting zoo, & birds. All the workers were friendly. My kids zipped lined all over the park including over the gators & the rock climbing was fun. We were all so glad we stopped by.β

Overview
Gatorland has operated since 1949 as Florida's benchmark alligator and crocodile park. The Breeding Marsh holds 14-foot adult gators; the park also exhibits rare leucistic white alligators β the largest collection in existence. Beyond gators, the property includes Florida panthers, snakes, a free-flight aviary, and a petting zoo. The Screamin' Gator Zip Line carries riders directly over the breeding marsh. Live shows run throughout the day covering gator wrestling and wildlife education.
