“I'm super disappointed with our trip today. My husband and I drove 1.5hrs to come here. We arranged for someone to watch our children and booked in advance to spend an anniversary date together. It was a bit windy when we arrived, but they harnessed us all and walked us through the training. When we finally finished, they walked us to the first line and the worker got a radio call saying to bring everyone in because of the wind. They asked us to wait around thirty minutes to hear from their managers to get the go ahead to go out on the adventure. We waited thirty minutes and were told to wait another thirty minutes for the go ahead. At this point my spouse and I, as did several others in the groups, decided to leave and were tired of waiting. We got in line to be refunded. It took forever to wait for the refunds. There were six families in line a head of us. As we are a third of the way through the refund line, a lady comes out to tell everyone they are closed for the day.. From the time it took to get harnessed, trained, walk out, walk back in, stand around and wait, and then stand in line to get refunded it was just shy of two hours.. A complete waste of our date night. :( It would have been nice had a future discount been offered for us making the effort, time, gas money, and park admittance fee to come here. I will say one of the people that helped us with training was a young man with a redish beard. He was really, really nice. More than anything, management seems disorganized.”
