âI think the best part about this park is the lake view. However there are some other nice aspects as well: It's a bit more off the beaten path than the other playground in Grant Park; The play equipment has a good variety of upper body stuff which isn't as common as you would expect; when the leaves are still on the trees, it's got a lot of great shade. The area around the play structure and swings is sand - not my favorite, and probably the biggest reason we don't come here more, aside from my kids liking other options more. Overall though this is a solid little park, will definitely be coming back.â
