It's open to the public, but a reasonable parking fee is required Memorial Day to Labor Day. You can bring your dog, and there are 2 dog runs for big and small dogs. There are numerous sport fields and courts - soccer, baseball, softball, tennis and pickleball. The beach is located at the far end of the park and admission fee is required in the summer. For those who don't like salt water there is a mini spray ground. Be sure to catch the fireworks on July 4th during the week of the Firemen's Carnival. Fishing and Boating - Bait and Tackle shop is at the entrance to the park and there is a public boat ramp and public dock. Numerous private docks for boat storage. In 1661 near the entrance to the park is where John Richbell purchased the land that became Mamaroneck and Larchmont from Siwanoy chief Wappaquewam.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children of all ages who want a full outdoor day combining beach, water play, playground, and wildlife watching in one location. The spray zone gives younger kids a fresh-water alternative to the salt beach.

βGorgeous park with a nice variety of water fowl. Playground was large and clean. Same with the baseball fields. As we walked around we found a little beach that was empty except for one family. We also found swinging chairs big enough for 2 or 3 people. Really cute park and it's a nice walk/workout when the weather is nice. Just 2 blocks away is street parking and a nice assortment of restaurants. We went to DonJito and enjoyed the food and drinks (highly recommend).β

The park also offers a variety of public classes, including yoga by the beach, strength training, and guided programs for kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.β

βI found this park while driving from the city on a Sunday afternoon. It's a great place to sit and relax. The day was perfect which made it more enjoyable. There were a pair of swans swimming around, and the seagulls were flying around and fishing. The park is well-kept and a great place to take a break from the daily routines.β
