It’s a fun atmosphere for the kids however I was really not impressed with the cleanliness of the place especially since we were the first ones to arrive after it opening . Bathroom diaper changing station had poop on it like it’s never been sanitized. Totally gross . Our socks were filthy after only two hours of being here .

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children under 8 who want a play-and-coffee outing in one stop. The dedicated toddler zone makes it a solid pick for mixed-age sibling groups. Check recent reviews before visiting — cleanliness standards have drawn criticism in 2026 visits.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡Use the dedicated toddler zone for children 2 and under — it's separated from the main structure
Socks are required for all children; bring extras in case of spills
🎟️No outside food or drinks are permitted — the café menu covers snacks, meals, and coffee

My husband and I took my 3 grandsons there to attend a Birthday party for a friends’ grandson. There were only 2 parties going on - 1 for a 2 year old and one for an older child - and lots of parents. However, my 2 year old grandson lost sight of me while I was helping my 3 year old grandson and had a meltdown by the front door (he thought I left him). I heard him crying and started walking toward him and witnessed the manager move him out of the way so other people could enter. No attempt to help a crying toddler, no attempt to locate his person - no care at all. Even the parents walking in commented on it and couldn’t believe her attitude. After I calmed him down, I asked her why she didn’t walk him back to the groups in the a party Rooms, she said she wasn’t a babysitter and just walked away. Total disregard for a 2 year old child! If you are going to open a facility for children, maybe you should actually care about children instead of just grifting their parents and grandparents for money. Also, in addition to the awful staff the toys are not commercial grade (there are MANY choking hazards), the older kids started pushing each other around in the only climbing structure available for all the age groups, there was a kid trying on all of the shoes we are forced to remove and leave in a common area unsupervised, and the infant area was an absolute mess - no way a crawling bay could play in there safely. Don’t waste your money on this place. It’s not safe.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after multiple experiences, I feel it’s important to share. I have now visited Hide N Play Cafe three separate times over the past year, and unfortunately the pattern of customer service has been consistently disappointing. Our first visit (reviewed previously by a friend who was with us) involved reservation confusion and a dismissive interaction with staff. After that experience, I was given a free pass for a future visit, which I appreciated. During our most recent visit, I encountered another frustrating situation. The website clearly states that “Adults and infants are free.” I was charged for my 10-month-old daughter and, when I asked if this was a new policy, I was told it has “always been that way.” I pulled up the website to show that it still states infants are free and clarified that I was not asking for a refund — only suggesting that the website be updated to avoid confusion for other families. The response was defensive and dismissive. When I asked how they define an infant, I was told “under 1,” but then informed that because my 10-month-old can crawl, she requires paid admission. This contradicts both the posted wording and the explanation given. I was actually planning to gather information about hosting my daughter’s first birthday party here, but after today’s interaction, I do not feel confident that this would be a wise choice. Policies can change, and misunderstandings happen. What has been most disappointing is the repeated tone and lack of professionalism when reasonable questions are asked. Families should feel welcomed, not like a nuisance for seeking clarification. Due to repeated issues with communication and customer service, I cannot recommend this establishment.
