I came here for the first time 8+ years ago. I don't remember why, but at the time I was not pleased with it whatsoever and decided to not come back. About a year and a half ago I came back again just to give it another shot, and this place had done such an impressive 180 into a positive direction that it needs to be studied. Over the next year and a half, this place truly has become a home-away-from-home to myself and a friend I managed to drag along a year ago. The building and equipment they keep very clean. The place is like a higher end restaurant when it comes to cleanliness in the common areas and bathrooms. Also I can tell you personally that they do a thorough cleaning of the field on a regular basis. I lost a locket about the size of a penny a few months ago during a leagues session and mentioned it to the staff. Now I was convinced this locket was not going to be found because I spent a good 15 minutes looking for it after the session was over and it was nowhere to be found. Lone and behold, staff found it on their cleaning BEHIND a filing cabinet, so this gives you an idea how far they go when cleaning. As for the equipment side, sometimes your gear may feel like it is wet and gross when you put it on. I can assure you it is that they sprayed and wiped it down with cleaning products. They do this at the end of every, single, session, no exceptions, and it should be dry after your first game. If you happen to be something that puts the gear on, notices this, and feel really uncomfortable wearing it, DO NOT hesitate to ask for a different gear set as they will certainly switch it out for you. So overall cleanliness they take VERY seriously here. As for actual playing experience, nothing beats this. The games list they have is far more massive than they can possibly run in a single session. So you will have a different set of games every time you play, and all of the games heavily emphasize teamwork which I love (this is an excellent place to go for a work team building outing because of this). The lighting effects are very cool and remind me of a night club, which really adds to the experience more than you would think. The gun sounds are pretty awesome (they even change it to Star Wars blaster sounds around May 4th). The music they play is very top notch and they even play soundtracks from COD, Doom, Halo etc. if you are fans of gaming. The arena is much bigger than it initially seems because of the second floor, and they change the prop layouts every couple weeks to mix things up. All in all, this place absolutely deserves 5 stars. I would give them 10 out of 5 if I could. Keep up the amazing work guys!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for teens and older kids at least 54 inches tall for public sessions. Younger children under 13 can access the venue through private birthday party packages specifically designed for ages 12 and under. The achievement and leaderboard system gives competitive kids a strong reason to return.

â„šī¸ What to Know Before You Go

💡Public sessions require players to be age 13 or at least 54 inches tall — bring younger kids through a private birthday package instead
⏰Book private and group events by calling ahead rather than using the online system
đŸŽŸī¸Thursday sessions include a discount — check current promotions on the iCOMBAT Waukesha site before booking
