1 / 3iFLY Indoor Skydiving - San Diego Mission Valley
π Mission Valley, CA
iFLY San Diego Mission Valley uses a vertical wind tunnel to simulate true freefall. Kids as young as 3 years old can fly with instructor supervision.
This place is amazing! My son really loved it. He even asked the instructors to do a high flight again π This place is an indoor skydiving place where thereβs a fan at the bottom and at the top. Then, one of the helpers turn on the engine of the fan. Then after a couple flights, an instructor shows you tricks and flips. Also, just clap for them :D. You should definitely try this out! The tickets are kinda expensive, but amazing! π€©
π Family Action Verdict
The minimum age is 3 years old, making this one of the few truly thrilling activities accessible to preschoolers as well as teens and adults. The instructor-in-tunnel format means nervous first-timers of any age get hands-on support throughout every flight. Birthday party packages are well-suited for groups of mixed ages.

Overview
The wind tunnel generates winds strong enough to lift flyers off the ground entirely, with an instructor present inside the tunnel for every flight. Sessions begin with a training briefing covering body position and hand signals, followed by multiple individual flights. After building confidence, instructors can take flyers on a high-flight β rocketing to the top of the tunnel together. School groups, birthday parties, and walk-in visits are all accommodated.
