1 / 3K1 Speed San Diego
📍 Barrio Logan, CA
K1 Speed San Diego runs adult and junior electric karts on a single challenging indoor track in downtown San Diego. The facility includes a Paddock Lounge restaurant, arcade, and a large meeting room.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for children tall enough for the junior kart program and confident enough to race independently on track. The birthday party format - with medals, food, and staff coordination - is a well-reviewed option for groups of 8-12-year-olds.

“Okay this place throws the COOLEST birthday parties! Be the envy of Your friends! Be the cool parent! Take the plunge while a Bunch of rowdy 8/9 Year old kids ask you very sincerely “if they’re Going to die” on this race Track. They make parties EASY! Food in house, drinks on a tab, 1st-3rd medal placements. And hours of entertainment. What a BLAST”

Overview
K1 Speed has operated at its downtown San Diego location since 2013. Electric karts run on a purpose-built indoor circuit, with separate adult and junior kart categories. Junior racing makes the experience accessible for younger children, and birthday party packages include in-house food, drinks on a tab, and 1st-through-3rd place medals for competitive fun. The Paddock Lounge serves food and drinks throughout the day. An on-site arcade adds a secondary activity.
