βPlease be careful when you purchase or book an event here or try to register for one of their classes. They let us down. I am so frustrated with what happened to me today. Me and my 10-year-old son rode around all morning looking for a basketball class game changers 5:1. With coach Sam. Arrived for this class that never existed/wasnβt properly set up. If the class was canceled or was never fully operational, you shouldβve never taken our money. You shouldβve never let me get my child hopes up. I should have not had to ride around, looking for a training session that was never started/not real. You offered me a refund which I have not received yet but even with a refund, it still does not fix the incredible misinformation and inconvenience happening. Iβm am extremely pissed to say the least. How unprofessional do you have to be to create a class that you never really had a location or plans for then charge people for the class and registration and then let them wait three weeks until the day of arrive at the place it was supposedly held at and no one there even knows about a basketball class! I should have been informed a week or two before all of this happen. Someone shouldβve took the time to email me or give me a call.β

βI honestly, really gave this place a go. If I could ask for my money back, I would. However, I was informed by a staff member they don't do refunds on ice skating lessons. The first time we went, I was completely unaware where to go. I walked in, and there was no one in the halls but a bunch of people. It was PACKED. I asked the ladies in the skate fitting booth where the instructors were, and she didnt know. So we got my sons (both) skates on, and went over to the concessions stand, and she goes "Usually the director is here but she isnt here today." Completely frustrated, and not knowing where to go, I finally found a parent and they informed me at that time the lessons were already in session, we spent ten minutes trying to figure out where to go. The second time we went, the director pulled me aside and let me know they are unable to acomodate my youngest, who has a PDA type of Autism. She basically stated his behavior was not allowed (he cannot control these things) and that she would ignore him moving forward. My son is high functioning autistic, and he can communicate and mobility is fine. He says/does things that are socially not appropriate as a form of social and physical stims. When I explained this to the director, she informed me that disability or not, they cannot acomodate him and if he continued (keep in mind he cannot control this), they would have to remove him from the program. I tried to get her to understand he has a disability, and she refused to understand. After the lessons on the second time we went, I was so humiliated and frustrated, I tried to keep my oldest in the figure skating lessons. We went over to the skate shop, and basically they looked at me crazy when I asked if they could order, or if they had any figure skates (Riedell's or Jacksons for Boys). The gentleman at the front recommended another shop and then told my oldest, "Why dont you do Hockey?". He refused to size my son for skates and we ended up just leaving. Keep in mind, my oldest son, got a silver medal at the USFC Commonwealth Games, and has competed before. Hockey isn''t what he wanted. We havent been back. I paid well over $200 for my children to be humiliated and ignored. I WISH I could get my money back and honestly I am close to disputing it with the bank. I have seen other reviews that said the same thing about them not acomodating disabilities and honestly, its true. They charge a ridiculous price, and don't let the kids practice after or have any additional ice time after/before sessions to implement what they learn. They could care less, about kids with disabilities and after talking to the other parents, I find they use other ice rinks in the area for actual lessons and this is just a filler rink. If it isnt hockey, they dont care. Find another rink. Its too expensive and they dont treat the kids the way they deserve to be treated.β
