πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for toddlers through early-elementary kids who want bounce houses and ride-ons in one visit. Bumper cars allow smaller children to ride alongside a parent. Pre-teen and older kids may find the arcade selection sparse given the equipment age noted in recent reviews.

β€œThe idea is great but the cost is high for games that are old, and on their last leg. To make parents pay $10 to watch their children is a bit much. Also the prizes are mostly from the $1 store and are extra marked up and have to be purchased separately. All together I would say the cost is high for what you’re getting. Un happy with the cost and the poor quality of the games..”

β€œwas excited to take my kids to kids castle, seemed like a great value... until I found out that they charge $10 an adult even if you're not participating, the website made it seem like an optional add on. So $65 for a family of 4 for 2 hours off the bat. all their games are broken or not functioning. flat out of order, missing balls. even the games that work, don't work. they operate but only for kids who don't realize the game isn't keeping score. some games seemed like two player but only one player mode worked. The number of games available and the selection of games was so disappointing. 40 games would be generous with half basketball/ski ball or EXTREMELY young children. "rides" include sandy the meijer penny horse. no tokens, tickets or prizes. they have a small selection of overpriced toys for sale that they got next door from bin Street and it's honestly all crap. nothing my kids would want. The bumper car ring is so small with so many cars you can barely move- it's not functional which is what annoyed me most. I was really excited to do something new and fun with my kids and I paid them $5 each to NOT participate because I couldn't stomach the idea of paying another $15 to be in gridlock traffic- cars have literally just a few feet to move in any direction. $5 claw machines for $1 items-- the ones that were filled at least, some empty. play until you win but you end up giving up because the claws are so weak it takes 15+ minutes to make anything happen. two inflatables that leak air from all seams. The inflatables even fully inflated don't support themselves and collapse on the kids. I asked if I could go on with the kids, workers said that *should* be okay. So weird they gave me the okay to do that not knowing one way or the other. One inflatable is an obstacle course with a 180lb weight limit. I weigh 220 and was allowed to be on this attraction with 10+ other kids when it's designed for two participants. We had had rain today and the building is in such poor quality the roof was leaking throughout and had flooded the obstacle course. When I let the. know they eventually shut it down. The windows and front door were heavily flooded and in the two and a half hours there, the building was allowed to continue to flood and the two workers made no attempt to mop anything up, lay down a towel, or even put up a wet floor sign. There was also large amounts of trash everywhere from others that were on multiple tables the entire time. Fairytale Funplace is a much much better deal and a much better experience for the kids. Kids Castle has no thought or effort put into and a shame that someone can fill an abandoned building with broken games and trash and charge an arm and a leg for local families.”
