π La Sierra, CA
Ice skating facility with patient instructors perfect for beginners to advanced skaters. Families love the clean facilities, two-hour open skate sessions, and welcoming atmosphere for all skill levels.
My daughter started in learn to skate lessons and has transitioned to hockey lessons. We were both afraid to even skate before, and now I'm even taking lessons. They have one free try it lesson. Ice Town offers learn to skate lessons, hockey lessons, and figure skating lessons. There are two rinks, a hockey shop, snack bar, and restrooms. There is plenty of seating, and offer open skate multiple days and times a week. Rentals are included with the cost of your open skate admission. They also offer birthday parties. I highly recommend Ice Town to everyone looking for lessons or just to have fun during open skate. Their open skate hours are on their website.
π Family Action Verdict
Perfect for families wanting to try ice skating or take lessons, suitable for complete beginners to advanced skaters. The patient, skilled instructors make it ideal for nervous kids and parents. Two-hour open skate sessions provide plenty of time to practice without feeling rushed.

βWeβve been taking our child to LA Kings Icetown for skating lessons, and itβs been such a fantastic experience! The instructors are incredibly patient, friendly, and great with kids. They make learning to skate fun, not scary. Each class is well-structured, with a perfect balance of skill-building and play. The coaches take time to help every child feel confident on the ice, whether itβs their first time or theyβre already gliding around. Our child looks forward to every lesson and has made huge progress in just a few weeks!β

βKids loved it. We went on December 22, and it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Be sure to check their website for the holiday schedule. Google maps showed it as closed which was inaccurate because the holiday schedule differs. The snack bar wasn't open when we were there. There are a couple vending machines with drinks and snacks. The open skating session is two hours, so we didn't need snacks in those couple hours. I bought tickets on Groupon at 50% off.β

βA very well kept place for youth hockey. Our kids had a great time visiting from northern California. The bathrooms were clean and well taken care of. They had good ice to skate on.β
