Laro Tayo, LLC
📍 Kent, WA
Laro Tayo — 'Let's Play' in Tagalog — is an indoor play space for children up to 5 years old in Kent, WA. The open layout keeps all children visible. Montessori-style toys, a slide, sensory play, and rotating classes fill the schedule.
Laro Tayo is such a gem—Joysha makes everyone feel instantly comfortable, and the space is always impressively clean and sanitized (which isn’t something I always expect from a kids’ play area!). I am so grateful we found this place because my daughter loves it so much. We even hosted our daughter’s second birthday here, and it was the perfect spot for a fun, stress-free party. They also host great events and bring in delicious vendors, so there’s something for parents to enjoy too.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
The sweet spot is ages 1–3, with plenty to engage 4- and 5-year-olds too. The calm, home-like atmosphere suits families who prefer a quieter alternative to large commercial play centres. Caregivers who want to connect with other parents will find a genuinely community-oriented environment here.

“Laro Tayo is quickly becoming one of our favorite places. My toddler absolutely loves it here, she will spend hours each visit engaged in play, creating, climbing and still isn’t ready to leave. The space is so inviting, comfortable for parents/caregivers to relax while kiddos play and thoughtfully laid out. It’s perfect for my energetic toddler along with being a great space for my baby to stretch out and also begin exploring as she grows. The owner is amazing, very passionate about this being a space for fun but also community and collaboration. We have loved the toddler yoga, photography session & clothing swap and look forward to the many other events we haven’t made it to yet. Highly recommend for anyone with kiddos.”

“More parents of Littles need to know about this small business! Very unique gem with ample adult seating and an open layout where you can keep an eye on your kiddo as they play. The activities and space is perfect for 1-3 year olds, but even 4-5 year olds would have fun here. Everything is very clean, everyone has to wash hands and remove shoes (socks required) before entering the play space. Food and drink must stay at the tables. Free Wi-Fi and hot tea for parents. The owner was constantly tidying up throughout our time there. She knew many of the kids by name. $18 for a single day play (includes one child and two parents) or $15 for a day pass when buying five days or $13 for a day pass when buying 10 days You have a whole year to use your passes, which is really generous! Alternatively, you can also buy a monthly unlimited membership @ $68 for one child for a month (they have more rates for multiple children) When I went on a Wednesday morning, there were about 8 kids there with their parents but it still felt very calm and spacious. Everyone was really nice and attentive to their child, helping little humans play nicely (IYKYK lol). Come support this AAPI female owned small business and make a little friend or two while you’re at it :)”

“My son loves coming to this indoor play space. The play area is clean and so are the bathrooms. Sometimes this place has pop ups for coffee, snacks, and events that may be of interest for parents or kids. So happy a place like this exists.”
